... in books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by the wonderful bloggers at
The Broke andBookish! If you don’t know this blog “Shame on you!” :)
You should really check it out, it’s awesome!

This week’s question is
Top Ten Books You'd Like to See Made Into A Movie

Well, that’s a tough one. I assume that those movies will be good ones because otherwise I will stop this list right now…

Seem to be good movies – so here is my list:

The Nanny by Melissa Nathan

The Single Girl’s To Do List by Lindsey Kelk

Meet me at the Cupcake Café by Jenny Colgan

Oh my Gosh, that’s hard. I only have chick-lit novel. Maybe I am afraid that with books I love and characters I love turned into a film it won’t be as I imagined them.
Well, we could make a deal. The actors in the following movies will look like I imagine these characters because then I would pick:

The Mortal Instrument series by Cassandra Clare

rom Notting Hill with Love…Actually by Ali McNamara

From London with Love by Jemma Forte

The Wolves of Mercy Falls trilogy by Maggie Stiefvater

13 Little Blue Envelops by Maureen Johnson

Under the Tuscan Sun by Frances Mayes
I know that there already is a movie but I would love to have one that really is like the book!

The Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich
the first book “One for the Money” was made into a film this year but I would love to see them all turned into movies. And please, pretty please with cherries on top, I would love to have more authentic actors as Joe and Ranger.

So, this is my list of books I would love to see turned into a movie. I know I ask a lot but as many I love these books and I love the way I picture the characters and settings so I would really appreciate it if the would be as I picture them.

  1. Great choices- I recently read Shiver and I think it could be a haunting and beautiful film if handled correctly!
