... in books

In My Mailbox is a weekly meme hosted by Kristie at The Story Siren

This week was a wonderful week in books for me. I received some wonderful books this week and I am really happy to show them to you.

Eyes like stars by Lisa Mantchev

Once a witch by Carolyn MacCullough

The Karma Club by Jessica Brody

Wreck this journal by Keri Smith

Finish this book also by Keri Smith

All of these books arrived here safely on Wednesday except the last one. It got delivered on Thursday but unfortunately not to my door but to one of my neighbors and I cannot find it. So I need to call the post office tomorrow morning to end this hunt. Really annoying!

But otherwise this week was nice; it finally got warmer here in Vienna and we got the first glimpse of spring!

... in books

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and Bookish and this week they want to know:
my Top Ten Books to Save if my House was Abducted by Aliens

Okay, let’s see; aliens landed on earth and abducted my home – interesting! If they would take me with them?

My top ten books to save would be:

the Inkheart series by Cornelia Funke

the Gemstone trilogy by Kerstin Gier
my copy of Gretchen Sackmeier by Christine Nöstlinger (my favorite book since childhood)
Dash & Lily’s Book of Dares by Rachel Cohn & David Levithan
my Terry Pratchett Discworld series collection
the Chocoholic mystery series by JoAnna Carl
the Stephanie Plum mystery series by Janet Evanovich
the Southern Sisters mystery series by Anne George
all my Bernstein Bear Book by Stan & Jan Bernstein
and my Kindle

Yes, I know that series do not count as one book but these do. They are way too good to be left behind when aliens invade the earth. I just hope there is WIFI in these space ships to by new books for my Kindle.

... in books

What's better to do on a Sunday night when you are feeling stressed out and not motivated at all?

That's right - go on Amazon, browse the virtual shelves for hours and then order a bunch of books you really want to read.
