Summary:
When Keri
Daniels' editor finds out she has previous carnal knowledge of reclusive
bestselling author Joe Kowalski, she gives Keri a choice: get an interview or
get a new job.

hear Keri's back in town and looking for him. Despite his intense need for

My
opinion:
I first
read this book last January and somehow it never left my mind completely. It
popped into my head from time to time, often at night when I had troubles
sleeping. Something in this book appealed to my little inner romantic. After
yet another week of thinking about this book I finally decided that I need to
re-read it so that I can write a review and spread the word about it.
I started
in the early morning hours of Sunday and finished around 6 p.m. that day. So I
basically flew through it and it didn’t disappoint me. I enjoyed it as much the
second time as I did when I discovered it back in 2012.
Yes,
Exclusively Yours is a full on chick lit romantic novel and I really like to reach
for them from time to time. It is the first novel in the Kowalski Family series
and focuses on the story of Joe Kowalski and his former high school sweet heart
Keri Daniels. Most of the story takes place at a campground with the whole
Kowalski clan and they are a lovely bunch. Of course each and every one has
their own problems but they just love to spend time together and stick together
like glue.
Joe
Kowalski, an author and one of four kids of the Kowalski clan, is one of the
main characters in the novel and he is such a sweet guy. He had his ups and
downs during his career but his family kept him rooted and sane (most of the
time) and I’m sure you can ask for anything and he’ll do it – he’s just that
kind of guy.
Keri, Joe’s
former high school sweet heart and now journalist at an LA magazine, comes back
to New Hampshire to get an exclusive interview with Joe but he coerces her into
spending time with him and his family on their annual camping trip if she wants
this interview. Keri is a lovely character and even though Joe’s twin sister
Terry, her former best friend, gives her a hard time she stays put and focuses
on her goal.
Exclusively
Yours is a very entertaining and fast paced story that left a mark on me partly
because I really like the characters a lot and also because of the wonderful
setting. So if you are looking for a fun read than grab this book and enjoy a
day of Kowalski family madness.
