Booktube Love
Part Two

I love watching Booktubers on YouTube and today I want to tell you a bit about my favorite ones. I am subscribed to a lot of Booktubers and I why love watching their videos and get inspiration from them. Since I want to share all my favorite Booktubers with you I will make this a recurring feature here on the blog so that I can not only share the links to their channel with you but also tell you a bit about them.

Catriona is behind the Booktube Channel Little Book Owl. She lives Down Under and I just love watching her videos. She does a lot of Tags and Hauls and the occasional Review. Her videos are always super entertaining and we share a similar taste in books so I discover some great books through her channel. She is also on Twitter.

Lisa is a lovely Dutch Blonde Book Bee. She's currently on a book buying ban but still her channel is filled with so many great videos and I love listening to her slight adorable Dutch accent. I hope I'll be able to meet her when I'm in the Netherlands this year. She's also on Twitter and talking to her is always great fun.

Raeleen, the mastermind behind Padfoot and Prongs 07, is a Canadian Book Tuber. Her videos are always wonderful to watch and every time I see one in my subscription box I cannot wait to watch it. I love her enthusiasm and have to laugh out loud whenever she tells you that she can't show a book because her camera is currently resting on it. Her tweets are also great.

Today I want to share something with you. I love watching Booktubers on YouTube and today I want to tell you a bit about my favorite ones. Alita is the Bootuber behind A Book Affair. She recently started university and even though she is faced with an enormous workload she is still managing to make videos. Her videos vary between reviews, book hauls, wrap-ups, giveaways, discussions and many more. I love her relaxed way of talking to the camera and if you want to know more about her visit her channel or add her on Twitter.

Kat is the bubbly mastermind behind Katytastic. Her videos are always fun and super interesting to watch. Her bookshelves are amazing and her taste in books is really similar to mine. After watching her videos I always have a huge list of books I need to check out immediatly and she not only does book hauls, reviews, TBR videos and other brilliant videos. Kat is also on Twitter if you want to add her.

The wonderful Sarah does brilliant videos on her channel. She lives in Wales and has one of the cutest accents. I only discovered her videos recently and I am so glad that I did. She has a quiet and direct way of telling you her opinion about books. Whenever I watch one of her videos I can feel her love for books and reading and I would really love to meet her one day. She's just great. Her Twitter account can be found here.

...Blogmas

Day 5

Welcome to Blogmas!
Every day from December first til Christmas Eve I will post one Christmas related post, giving you gift ideas, tips, recipes, etc. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Austria is not really big on amazing Christmas adverts. Of course we have the annual Coca Cola spot but apart from that they are either incredibly embarassing or not festive at all. But I found this super sweet Christmas ad from the British department store John Lewis and I just need to share this with you.

Be warned: It made me shed a tear or two!

Forget the picture of houses and reading nooks I posted here.

Today I found THE house!

The ultimate - perfect - most amazing house ever!

Well, I actually don not know how amazing or beautiful the house is but the staircase and the bookshelves ...
I am speechless and people who know me, know that this does not happen ofter (probably never)!

But take a look:

Isn't this the most amazing bookshelf you have ever seen?

Here a few pictures I found and wanted to share with you.

When people ask me about my life plan I normally say that I would love to have kids but that I don't want to build or move into a house. I love living in apartments and these are expensive enough here in Vienna. But after seeing these pictures I am seriously overthinking this whole building a house stuff.

a bookshelf door - how awsome
would take the library and the dog but I would like a (purple) couch instead of the chair
OMG a reading nook - I would kill for one
also a nice reading nook

It is freezing cold right now in Austria and until two days ago the cold wasn’t that bad because we had a clear blue sky and lots of sunshine but right now it is foggy and cloudy and cold and windy and that is not a good combination.

I went grocery shopping today and bought three bars of chocolate just because it is cold and grey and all I am doing right now is watching TV, browsing the internet and reading. I currently read so much – oh, how I love holidays. Well they will soon be over because I’ve got some exams coming up at the end of February or beginning of March and I need to start studying if I want to enjoy my holidays and be prepared at the end for the exams.

Anyways, right now I would like to share a wonderful video with you because the best thing in winter is wearing scarf. I love love love love love them. I am a huge fan of scarves in all kinds of colors and materials.
This video gives you 25 different ways to wear a scarf in just 4.5 minutes and afterwards you can click on one stile you liked and get transferred to the tutorial. Great video!

As I told you in yesterday’s IMM post I have one more exam in 2011. That will be on the 19th of December. Until then I am supposed to study hard because I don’t think that it will be one of the easy ones. Come to think of it; I never had an easy exam at university. Are easy university exams an urban legend?

Anyways, I should study hard but instead I am reading, going to concerts, going out with friends, sleeping a lot and so on. Which I think can be summed up in PROCRASTINATION! I hate hate hate it! But on the other hand; I had some awesome days this past week!

I know there is still more than enough time to study and I am able to learn all I need to know in just one week but there is not that much time this week due to work, two Christmas parties and a friend of mine celebrates her university graduation on Friday. But I will manage it all – as always!

The thing I wanted to tell you was that during my study time I was surfing the internet and found a really cool youtube-channel by Aily where she talks about organization, study skills, time management, …
I am not sure if this should mean something to me?

I think her channel is so amazing that I want to share it with all of you here:

You so need to watch her videos - just awesome stuff she is telling. But maybe that's just me and my fascination with time management, planning and stuff.

One of Aily’s major study skill-tips is to shut down my internet while studying and this is exactly what I will do now. So that’s all for today folks, see you all tomorrow for this week’s Top Ten Tuesday – hopefully – and until then I can be found between books, paper, highlighters and also at work. Yeah!
