Here is the first challenge of the week hosted by Sarah at Sarah Says Read.

What do you like best about readathons? Do you have any readathon traditions or rituals? If this is your first readathon, what do you like so far?

Bout of Books 4.0 is my first read-a-thon. There were some advertised in the German speaking book blogging community but due to the fact that my native language is German but I blog and read in English I never participated.

So I a read-a-thon rooky!

No traditions, no rituals, just plain old me trying to fit as much reading into my day as possible.

What I really like so far is the fact that I have an excuse to stick my nose in a book – not that I need one. This week I don’t need to be social. I can just snuggle up in my bed under my Sesame Street Quilt my mum made me for my birthday and read all evening. During the day I spend as much time as possible reading while fitting studying and work into my day as well.

I will post a read-a-thon wrap up probably next Monday to tell you all how much I liked this week of excessive reading.
